## Summary

Elon Musk shared a screenshot on X showing Grok’s ability to order Lego Star Wars sets, revealing his 10-digit order number, payment details, and delivery address to his 240 million followers. Within hours, an X user named Enderman exploited the exposed data to attempt canceling the order via Lego’s customer service chatbot, Sophia. Musk later confirmed the order remained active, but another user used the same details to modify the order—adding 400 sets and changing the delivery address—before Sophia allegedly confirmed the change.

The incident highlights risks of AI agents handling sensitive transactions. Visa warned in late 2025 about fraud in agentic commerce, noting a 40% increase in malicious bot-initiated transactions in the US. Musk previously suggested Grok could make purchases with a credit card image, mirroring claims by Meta and OpenAI about their agents’ shopping capabilities. Lego did not confirm whether the reported activity occurred on Musk’s order.

## Key points

- Musk shared Lego order details—number, payment info, and address—via Grok’s X post
- Users canceled or altered Musk’s order using exposed data through Lego’s AI chatbot
- Visa reported 40% rise in US bot-initiated fraud transactions in late 2025

## Why it matters

The incident underscores vulnerabilities in AI agents handling sensitive transactions, raising concerns about data exposure and fraud risks in agentic commerce.
