## Summary

Google announced that Gemini, its AI assistant for Google Sheets, is now available on iOS devices. Users can tap the Gemini spark icon in a compatible spreadsheet, ask questions about the data, generate analytical insights, and create charts directly from their iPhone or iPad. Suggested prompts such as “Summarize this table” and “Analyze for insights” are provided to help users get started.

The feature follows earlier releases on the web and Android and began a gradual rollout on October 15, 2026, with visibility expected within up to 15 days. It is enabled by default for eligible users across Business Starter, Standard, Plus; Enterprise Starter, Standard, Plus; Education add‑ons (Google AI Pro for Education); and Consumer plans (Google AI Plus, Pro, Ultra). Admins can control access only at the domain or organizational unit level through the standard Gemini for Google Workspace enablement.
