## Summary

Bangalore Climate Data Week 2026, the city’s first climate‑data programme, ran five days from 12‑16 October with 36 events organized by the Climate Collective Foundation. Google served as the Anchor Partner alongside state partners Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society and Startup Karnataka. Attendees—including climate‑tech founders, investors, researchers, policymakers and corporates—explored how data and artificial intelligence can tackle climate challenges such as industrial decarbonisation, urban heat, energy optimisation and flood forecasting.

Key showcases included CSTEP’s BHRIGU‑National + Heat Insights Explorer, the Namma SAFARI and DISHA platforms, and WRI India’s Data Lab Connect, all aimed at strengthening urban heat resilience and water management. Google’s Roli Agarwal highlighted the company’s Solar API, which supports rooftop solar adoption across 300 million Indian rooftops, as well as AI models for flood forecasts and precision agriculture for smallholder farmers. The week closed with a climate‑jobs fair that attracted more than 200 job‑seekers and a women‑led startup accelerator backed by the International Finance Corporation, the governments of Canada and Australia, MicroSave Consulting and the Climate Collective Foundation.
