## Summary

Google is rolling out its AI Inbox feature to paid Google Workspace users starting October 15, 2026. The tool automatically extracts action items and deadlines from emails, summarizing key updates to help users manage workflows. It is available in the US for Business, Enterprise, and Education editions with AI Pro, excluding Starter plans and other editions like Frontline Plus.

AI Inbox highlights suggested to-dos and summarizes important topics across email threads. Admins have no control over the feature, and users access it directly in the Gmail desktop or mobile app. Rollout begins gradually over 15 days, starting October 12 for Rapid Release domains and October 26 for Scheduled Release domains. Additional editions will follow in the coming months.
