## Summary

Google has expanded access to Notebooks in Gemini, a dedicated workspace for organizing projects and conversations, to students, educators, and professionals. Previously limited to individual users, the tool allows users to group up to 10 sources into a single notebook. This integration combines the Gemini app and Gemini Notebook to help users synthesize information and draft deliverables.

Administrators can control access to the feature, which is on by default for organizations with both Gemini Notebook and Gemini enabled. The gradual rollout began on September 14, 2026, and will take up to 15 days for full visibility.

## Key points

- Notebooks in Gemini are now available to schools, organizations, and Google Workspace customers.
- Users can upload up to 10 sources per notebook to organize their projects and conversations.
- The feature is available to Workspace customers outside the European Economic Area and personal accounts globally.

## Why it matters
