## Summary

*Gods Don’t Give Gifts*, billed as the first AI-generated movie to hit theaters, will premiere on December 4. The sci-fi anthology, produced by studio **Fable**, features Grimes lending her likeness and voice to a film set in a future where consciousness is commodified. Directed by **Jack London** (known as Gossip Goblin), the project explores themes of transhumanism and AI, aligning with Grimes’ own interests and her upcoming AI-themed album, *Psy Opera*.

Fable claims the film marks a shift toward AI-generated performances in animation, though critics have questioned whether AI has proven itself as a vital storytelling tool. Earlier AI projects, like Elon Musk’s Grok-based *The Odyssey*, received mixed reviews. The film’s release could test whether AI-driven cinema gains mainstream traction.
