## Summary

A non-technical user tested Meta’s Muse AI agent to redeem 3,600 neglected U-NEXT points for movie vouchers. The agent handled the entire process—logging into the U-NEXT app, navigating the exchange workflow, and even retrying failed transactions—while the user only intervened for SMS verification. It also set up a recurring check for expiring points and drafted a reusable procedure for future use, saving the user time and reducing financial stress before a double-movie outing.

The agent’s cautious approach—verifying balances and usage history before retrying—avoided duplicate exchanges. The user noted two key limitations: coupons expire in 10 days (not the displayed date) and free usage depends on Meta’s tiered plan. While the experience was seamless for this one-off task, the author wonders how Muse could handle other neglected tasks, like bill payments or subscription renewals.

## Key points

- Muse agent redeemed 3,600 U-NEXT points for two movie vouchers without manual UI interaction
- User only assisted during SMS verification and retry failures, saving ~30 minutes of work
- Agent set up a recurring check for expiring points and documented the process for reuse

## Why it matters

Demonstrates how AI agents can automate repetitive, low-stakes tasks like redeeming points or managing subscriptions, reducing friction for non-technical users. If scaled, this could cut administrative burdens for millions of consumers.
