## Summary

NTT DATA opened the Jakarta 2 Annex (JKT2A) data center on November 3, 2026, adding 12MW of IT capacity for AI and high-density workloads. The facility uses dual power substations, 2N UPS architecture, N+1 generators, and N+1 air-cooled chillers with N+2 computer room air handlers. It has a Tier III-certified design and sits within NTT Global Data Centers' Jakarta campus alongside JKT2 and JKT3.

The company also launched APN Connect, described as Indonesia's first All-Photonics Network service. Built on Innovative Optical and Wireless Network technology, it provides Layer 1 connectivity between JKT2/JKT2A and JKT3, about 35km apart. NTT DATA says the link enables real-time data synchronization for disaster recovery, data replication, and resilient multi-data-center operations. The campus hosts more than 240 network service providers, JKT-IX, major cloud providers, and submarine-cable connections.

Construction was announced on May 15, 2024 with an early 2026 target; the opening comes after that schedule. NTT DATA projected more than $10 billion of data-center growth investment for 2023 through 2027, with JKT2A part of that program. The company aims to source 100% renewable energy for its own operations by 2030.
