## Summary

Google AI Pro costs 2,900 yen per month and bundles YouTube Premium Lite, Gemini’s advanced models, Deep Search, agent features, 5 TB of Google Drive storage, and Google Home Premium. YouTube Premium Lite alone is 780 yen per month but lacks background playback, offline downloads, and YouTube Music.

If a user only wants ad‑free video, the standalone YouTube Premium Lite is cheaper by 2,120 yen. When the user also pays for cloud storage (e.g., a 2 TB plan at 1,450 yen) the AI Pro bundle saves about 670 yen while providing 5 TB of storage and Gemini access. For users already paying for an AI subscription around 3,000 yen, the AI Pro bundle is over 2,000 yen cheaper than buying each service separately. The author warns of possible double billing if the existing YouTube Premium is not cancelled first, and notes that family‑sharing rules may change access for some members.

## Key points

- Google AI Pro costs 2,900 yen/month and includes YouTube Premium Lite (no background playback or downloads).
- Standalone YouTube Premium Lite is 780 yen/month; AI Pro is cheaper only when combined with storage or AI subscriptions.
- Switching can cause double billing and may affect family‑sharing access if not handled correctly.

## Why it matters

Shows how bundled AI subscriptions can affect consumer cost decisions, highlighting hidden pitfalls like double billing and feature gaps for YouTube users.
