## Summary

The alliance announced on Oct 5, 2026 by PwC and Cohere aims to help enterprises run secure AI in production and achieve measurable returns. It pairs Cohere’s North agentic AI platform, enterprise models, and search and retrieval technology with PwC’s industry, risk, regulatory, and transformation practices.

PwC notes many organizations experiment with AI but struggle to move beyond pilots. The joint work focuses on security, compliance, and data sovereignty for regulated industries. Domenic Marino, Senior Partner and CEO of PwC Canada, said AI can change operations but technology alone is not enough.

Cohere’s co‑founder Aidan Gomez said the platform can run on private cloud, on‑premises, or air‑gapped environments, letting clients keep control of data. The alliance will support use cases like enterprise search, knowledge access, decision support, task automation, and provide governance, accountability, and workflow redesign.
