## Summary

Realtor.com launched RealAssist AI on October 6, 2026, as an automated layer inside its Realtor.com+ platform for real estate agents. The tool automates client onboarding, summarizes daily activity, and drafts messages or search refinements, requiring agent approval before execution. It targets repetitive tasks like manual data entry or follow-ups, aiming to free agents to focus on client service.

The update expands Realtor.com+’s footprint to 21 U.S. markets, serving over 192,000 agents—10% of the national market—with 252,000 listings. It integrates Realtors Property Resource (RPR) data and allows bulk client invites via QR code. Anna Marie Castiglioni, Head of Realtor.com Next, framed it as shifting the platform from a collaboration hub to an ‘agent’s proactive partner.’ Four more markets will launch soon.

## Key points

- RealAssist AI automates client onboarding, activity summaries, and drafts messages with agent approval
- Realtor.com+ now covers 21 U.S. markets with 192,000 agents and 252,000 listings
- RPR integration and bulk client invites via QR code are part of the fall 2026 updates

## Why it matters

Automating repetitive tasks for agents could reduce burnout and improve responsiveness, but approval workflows may slow adoption if agents resist delegation.
