Raspberry AI Expands Platform Into Unified Agentic Fashion Workflow

Unite.AI · 16 September 2026

Raspberry AI announced on September 16, 2026, a major expansion of its platform that brings the fashion product lifecycle into a single AI-powered agentic workflow, unifying AI agents across design, merchandising, wholesale, marketing and e-commerce. The company described the unification as a first for the fashion industry and said it creates an entirely new path from initial concept to commerce.

Cheryl Liu, Raspberry AI’s CEO and founder, framed the launch around the gap between fast-moving consumer tastes and slow product development. Shoppers now live in an on-demand world where inspiration can become demand overnight, she said, while bringing a product to market is still built around physical sampling, disconnected teams and timelines measured in seasons. “AI is changing what’s possible, allowing brands to move from a consumer insight or a spark of inspiration to a finished collection in days, not seasons,” Liu said.

From a Single Prompt to a Full Collection

A team can begin with a prompt, such as asking for a men’s denim collection for Fall 2027, and guide the resulting agent at every stage, according to the company. Designers, merchandisers and marketers bring their expertise and creative judgment to the process, reviewing the agent’s work and shaping each design as it evolves, keeping people in control.

Within that workflow, teams can pull in trend and consumer insights, build moodboards, explore fabrics from their own libraries, develop and iterate designs, generate production-ready technical designs and visualize complete assortments on-model. Those same products can then become lookbooks, wholesale presentations, campaign creative, product detail pages, digital commerce assets and visual merchandising, with teams continuing to guide how each product is brought to market.

The announcement positioned the platform against a product-development process it described as highly labor-intensive and built around physical workflows and countless handoffs for decades. A single product can require dozens of steps, from trend research, sketching and material selection through technical design, sampling, fittings, revisions, approvals, production and photography. The company estimates that 40% of apparel inventory goes unsold each year as brands struggle to respond quickly to consumer demand, and it said its platform not only digitizes many of those steps but connects them in one continuous workflow for the first time.

Raspberry AI said the platform was built by fashion designers, merchandisers and marketers working alongside AI-natives from Google and Meta and Stanford PhDs, a team it credits with collectively building the first AI agent created specifically for fashion.

Pantone Collaboration for NYFW Spring/Summer 2027

The platform’s capabilities also extend into color and visual direction. For the NYFW Spring/Summer 2027 season, Pantone is partnering with Raspberry AI on a series of AI-generated materials and mood boards inspired by the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report, the company said. Using Raspberry AI, the teams translated the Pantone Color Institute’s seasonal color and trend direction into visual explorations across fabrics, textures, silhouettes and styling to show how each featured color might appear in real-world products.

The collaboration builds on Raspberry AI’s recent integration of Pantone’s full Fashion, Home + Interiors library of 2,625 colors into its platform, which the company said gives designers, merchandisers and creative teams a direct way to move from color inspiration to product and campaign concepts. The NYFW Spring/Summer 2027 palette and accompanying mood boards are available for anyone to explore on Raspberry AI.

Brand Roster and Reported Results

Raspberry AI said SKIMS, ALO and Savage X Fenty have joined a growing roster of brands that includes Oscar de la Renta, Walmart, TJX, Beyond Yoga, Columbia, Claire’s, Steve Madden, Tapestry (Kate Spade), rag & bone, Polo South Africa, Lilly Pulitzer, Roller Rabbit, Adrianna Papell and Delsey Paris. As adoption expands across more of those organizations, the company reported that brands are seeing 2–5X faster speed to market, 60% lower sample costs, 80% lower photoshoot costs and 75% lower production costs.

Nancy Green, CEO of Beyond Yoga, said technology is an important enabler for her teams, helping them make faster, more informed decisions across the product creation process. “Raspberry AI is helping us unlock new efficiencies and accelerate creativity within our development and selling process, allowing us to focus on what matters most: delivering premium, relevant products and human experiences that resonate,” Green said.

The company said its approach has also attracted industry recognition. In May 2026, Raspberry AI was selected as one of six companies for the inaugural CFDA x OpenAI Innovation Hub, a program pairing technology developers with fashion brands.
