I publish Digest AI. I started it because keeping up with AI meant reading the same story in six places and still not knowing which numbers were right.
What I do
- Choose the sources. Which labs, publications, newsletters and communities the desk reads, and how much weight each carries.
- Set the rules. The editorial standards: every claim linked to its source, confirmed stories before single-outlet ones, figures and names checked against the articles, no paid placement.
- Correct and remove. I pin, correct and unpublish stories, and I answer the corrections address.
- Decide what we share. The stories posted on LinkedIn and X each day are picked and posted by me.
How the stories are written
I do not write each story by hand, and I would rather say so. Headlines, key points and digests are written by language models from the articles linked on each page, then checked by rules against those articles; every page says this. What I am responsible for is the system that does it, the sources it trusts, and fixing it when it gets something wrong.
