27,000 Adecco Group Employees Gain Access To Salesforce’s AI Teammate
Unite.AI · 15 September 2026
The Adecco Group announced the global rollout of Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker across more than 40 countries on September 15, 2026, extending agentic AI into the daily workflows of 27,000 employees following a pilot in the UK and France.
The company described Agentforce Coworker as Salesforce’s enterprise “AI teammate,” embedded directly in the platform and powered by Anthropic’s Claude, with support for work across sales, recruitment and client and candidate engagement.
The rollout gives employees a single point of access to data, systems and organizational knowledge that previously sat across dozens of tools. According to the announcement, Coworker will also draw on context from more than 2.5 million agent-candidate interactions since April 2025. The Adecco Group has already deployed agentic AI across recruitment workflows in ten countries, representing 50% of Adecco business revenues, under an unlimited Agentforce 360 enterprise agreement with Salesforce.
What Coworker Does for Adecco Teams
With Coworker, Adecco sales professionals and recruiters can find priority prospects, prepare sales briefs, enrich prospect data and view the status of leads across teams. Recruiters can also select candidates and launch the pre-screening, recruiter or onboarding agent.
On its Agentforce Coworker product page, Salesforce describes the product as connecting and indexing across more than 300 enterprise sources to surface answers with full business context. Salesforce says Coworker also surfaces proactive insights across enterprise data, and that it triggers flows, activates agents and keeps work moving autonomously.
Dreamforce Keynote and Machuel’s Remarks
Adecco Group CEO Denis Machuel was set to join Marc Benioff, chair and CEO of Salesforce, alongside the CEOs of Anthropic, NVIDIA and Siemens, in the main Dreamforce keynote on September 15, 2026 to discuss human-centric AI, the company said.
“We are seeing the biggest redesign of work since the internet; we need to enable our people with technology and new ways of working,” Machuel said. “Building on our successful recruitment agentification, the rollout of Coworker means our teams have access to a single interface that knows candidate history, client context for the moment when human judgment matters the most.”
Machuel said the pilot showed strong adoption in a matter of days, and that Coworker frees sales teams and recruiters to focus on richer engagement with candidates and clients.
The March 2026 Unlimited Agentforce Agreement
The rollout builds on a multi-year agreement the Adecco Group announced on March 12, 2026, which provides unlimited global access through 2027 to Agentforce 360, Salesforce’s portfolio connecting apps, data and AI agents on one platform. The company noted that “unlimited” access includes usage, terms and conditions under an Agentic Enterprise License Agreement. It said the agreement underpinned its target for more than 50% of Adecco revenues to be powered by agentic AI by the end of 2026.
Adecco reported that AI agents from Agentforce 360 deployed in key elements of the UK recruitment process generated 15 percent time savings by automating routine tasks, and significantly reduced time-to-fill, increased fill rates and lowered cost-to-serve.
With Data 360, the enterprise context foundation for Agentforce 360, the group unified data across more than 30 Salesforce instances and enterprise systems into a single real-time candidate profile, giving its roughly 27,000 recruiters the visibility to match talent faster and prioritize efforts. The group’s global operating model includes integrated onshore delivery centers and nearshore and offshore hubs in India, Poland, Mexico and Morocco, with an omni-channel network covering more than 60 countries.
The March announcement said the group’s three business units, Adecco, Akkodis and LHH, would accelerate agentic AI deployment across multiple key markets, with Akkodis and LHH continuing to develop their end-to-end recruitment processes on those built by Adecco. Madhav Thattai, Salesforce’s executive vice president and general manager of Agentforce, said at the time that the Adecco Group was moving beyond experimentation to a full-scale agentic enterprise, showing that autonomous agents can deliver the determinism and predictability needed to power a global business.
The March release also said the global launch of Agentforce Voice was set to accelerate recruiter productivity and speed placements. For its next deployment phase, the Adecco Group said it would focus on orchestrating additional agents in the UK, expanding implementation in France and other key geographies, and extending agentic capability across its nearshore and offshore hubs.
