the portal also provides analytics on installs by product surface and version, as well as listing views and search terms that lead users to the plugin. claude supports the latest mcp spec, mcp 2.0, which includes a stateless core, and offers two extensions: mcp apps for interactive UI inside chat and enterprise managed auth for zero‑touch oauth. support for additional mcp features is coming soon, and over the coming weeks a discovery experience will roll out across claude and claude code. existing skills, connectors, or plugins on the directory need not be changed.
