NVIDIA expands physical and agentic AI services for cities worldwide
NVIDIA is scaling its physical and agentic AI offerings to help cities manage data from cameras, sensors, and operational systems. The company, along with partners, is deploying digital twins for infrastructure planning and vision agents for public services, aiming to give local governments control over sensitive data processing. These initiatives, announced at GTC Berlin, rely on shared…
Key points
- NVIDIA partners deploy agentic AI for resident services in Spain, US, Poland, and Malaysia.
- ITMAX in Malaysia scales vision agents to support 17,000+ cameras by 2027.
- Digital twins in Taiwan reduce urban planning design iteration time to less than an hour.
In Spain, 1MillionBot uses NVIDIA Nemotron and open-source models to handle resident services for Madrid and other regions. In the San Francisco Bay Area, LiveX is deploying conversational AI hosts and vision agents using NVIDIA Cosmos and Omniverse. In Poland, K2K is transforming camera streams into actionable intelligence for mobility and safety, while in Malaysia, ITMAX is scaling vision agents to support over 17,000 cameras by 2027, integrating traffic simulation to reduce peak-hour travel times by up to 26%.
Digital twins are also being used for critical infrastructure. At Dangote’s Lekki refinery in Nigeria, Honeywell Technologies is using Nemotron-powered agents and Omniverse to optimize plant performance. In Taiwan, Linker Vision and MVRDV are using these tools to simulate urban planning scenarios, reducing design iteration time from two weeks to under an hour. NVIDIA will present these developments at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from November 3-5.
