Palma.ai raises $1.8 million pre‑seed to build governance layer for enterprise AI agents

The platform sits between agents and enterprise tools, routing requests through governed connectors that encode user and agent permissions, called “Skills”. Policies can allow, deny, rate‑limit or require human approval for actions such as updating a CRM record or triggering a workflow. Palma.ai works across multiple AI models—including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Cursor—and integrates with identity providers like Microsoft Entra and Okta. It can be run on Docker, Kubernetes or bare‑metal, supporting VPC, on‑premises and air‑gapped deployments. CEO Patrick Eden warned that “every company is about to give AI agents the keys to its systems, the question is whether anyone is watching the door.”
